Epimedium

Epimedium grandiflorum contains icariin, a compound known to enhance sexual function by increasing blood flow to the genital area. In studies with male rats, icariin has shown to improve erectile function, increase the frequency of ejaculation and sexual activity, and reduce the time needed to initiate sexual activity. Additionally, icariin has demonstrated the ability to address hypogonadism, a condition marked by low testosterone levels, in rats exposed to cyclophosphamide. Low doses of icariin have been effective in improving erectile responses, and it may have a potential role in the rehabilitation of sexual function.
